At CFH, we continuously invest in personal development to ensure our employees have the very best skill set and knowledge to provide the best service to our clients.
We are currently celebrating a brilliant milestone, our newly appointed Project Manager Team Leader passed their PRINCE2 qualification. We would like to congratulate Jo Connor from our Radstock site on this amazing achievement – a real credit to her hard work and dedication upon taking on a new role.
PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is recognised worldwide as the leading project management qualification, providing those who undertake the course with the fundamental skills they need to become a successful and knowledgeable project manager. The qualification is applicable to all project management roles and the skills learnt can be scaled and tailored to different projects within all industries.
There are over 1 million certified PRINCE2 professionals around the world, who have completed either the foundation and/or the practitioner courses with this number growing each year.
PRINCE2 was first developed in 1996 and has continuously evolved with the qualification currently on their 6th edition of the training. The course can either be undertaken as a classroom course, online e-learning, the blended approach or virtual courses.
Jo has been an invaluable member of CFH for over 20 years. Originally starting as an Invoicing Clerk before moving to different roles around the business including Account Manager and Senior Account Manager before becoming our Key Client Team Leader. During all these positions she provided exemplary service and support to our clients first-hand.
However, her career at CFH didn’t stop there, with senior management recently approaching Jo with a new opportunity in the Project Management Team, which she was more than happy to take on. After only 5 months of being in the role, she was asked to become the Project Management Team Leader and she gladly accepted.
With valuable knowledge and insight from her time at CFH, Jo can apply this to any new projects that are onboarding to the company whilst supporting our clients and sharing her expertise with others in the team.
As a part of her new role, Jo enrolled on the PRINCE2 intense course, which consisted of four days of intense learning, where she covered a range of topics and modules in the lead-up to her exams.
After the course finished, there was a week's break before Jo completed the Foundation exam, with a further two-week break before completing the Practitioner exam. The time between the course and exams, allowed Jo to prepare for what she was about to undertake.
We are pleased to share that Jo not only managed to successfully pass both exams but did so at the time of onboarding important new contracts to the business. Everyone here at CFH would like to congratulate her on this achievement, it's a testament to her consistent hard work. Well done Jo!
